Marshal of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodship – Adam Jarubas, President of the PRO CIVIS Foundation for Education and Social Dialogue – Tadeusz Pęczek, Director of the Regional Science and Technology Centre – Michał Piast, as well as representatives of the Busko-Zdrój poviat and municipality, and Solec-Zdrój commune signed a Letter of Intent, thus expressing their willingness to cooperate on Project implementation.
Marshal of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodship – Adam Jarubas, President of the PRO CIVIS Foundation for Education and Social Dialogue – Tadeusz Pęczek, Director of the Regional Science and Technology Centre – Michał Piast, as well as representatives of the Busko-Zdrój poviat and municipality, and Solec-Zdrój commune signed a Letter of Intent, thus expressing their willingness to cooperate on Project implementation.
The ceremony took place on the February 7, 2018 at the Museum for Cultural Dialogue in Kielce.
The Project is now considered to be regionally kicked-off.
It is worth mentioning that one of the most important project activities is the piloting, which will start in 2019. It will focus on measurements of air pollution in the area of aforementioned spa communes. The measurements will be conducted with the assistance of the newest technologies such as specially designed drone technology.
What is more, piloting activities include awareness-raising actions aimed at minimizing the level of emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere, and creating incentives allowing the introduction of bio-economy products and technologies to obtain thermal energy.
